The Leffell School is a K-12 Jewish independent school in Westchester County, 30 minutes north of New York City, that emphasizes academic excellence, Jewish values, and a strong sense of community.

We are seeking a full-time teacher who takes initiative, enjoys collaboration, and is detail-oriented. The ideal candidate understands students and their unique individual needs and is committed to teaching both skills and content along with self-advocacy and other strategies to help students be successful. Frequent communication with students, parents, other teachers, and outside support personnel is required. The teacher will work in our Center for Academic Support (CAS) and will also collaborate closely with content teachers. This special educator may be asked to teach or co-teach a course in English or social studies.

Qualifications: Master's degree in special education.
